About

My Story

For more than ten years, my work was rooted in schools, but my heart was always with families. I spent my days in pastoral care roles supporting children through mental health challenges, safeguarding concerns, and the everyday ups and downs of growing up. I also led PSHE provision and spent four years in senior leadership, helping to shape whole-school approaches to wellbeing and care.

But some of the most meaningful conversations didn’t happen in classrooms or meetings. They happened at the school gate, in quiet offices, or during hurried phone calls in between all of the other 9 million things I was expected to do as a teacher and Senior leader. Parents would come to me with questions they didn’t know who else to ask—about their child’s anxiety, friendships, behaviour, confidence, or simply how to be the best support they could be at home.

What I noticed time and time again was this: parents deeply want to help their children, but the information is scattered, overwhelming, and often conflicting. Finding clear, trustworthy guidance can feel exhausting when you’re already juggling family life.

That’s where the idea for this platform began.

I wanted to create a space where parents could Discover reliable information without feeling judged or overloaded. A place to Explore topics at their own pace, knowing the advice comes from real experience working alongside children and families. A space to Connect—not just with resources, but with a community of parents, professionals, and local support networks.

This isn’t just a website filled with articles. It’s growing into a one-stop hub for families: practical guidance you can pinpoint quickly, events that bring people together, guest speakers who share their expertise, and local directories that make support easier to access in real life.

My hope is that this space feels like a trusted conversation—supportive, honest, and grounded in understanding. Because when families feel informed and supported, they don’t just cope… they Thrive.
